Rick Kimmons has been in the Real Estate lending business since 1974. He began his real estate lending career as a regional mananger for a mortgage insurance company in Houston, TX. He worked closely with Banks and Savings and Loans for a few years and opened his own residential mortgage company in 1983. He began providing commercial lending with his company in 1984. During all of these years, Mr. Kimmons has been investing in residential and commercial real estate as well as the mortgage business. He began providing Hard Money loans after he decided it was the best way to finance a project of his own in 1999, and opened 1s American Direct Lending in 2005.

Cheryl Henderson has recently joined 1st American as a Loan Representative. She has 3 years experience in the residential mortgage business and has moved flawlessly into the commercial end of the business.
